Meet the person behind the lens!

Hi there! I’m Mo (Moira) Thompson, a Birmingham-based photographer and videographer with a passion for storytelling through the lens.

I graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s in Journalism, specializing in Sports Production. During my time at Auburn, I had the opportunity to work as a student intern with War Eagle Creative, Auburn’s video content production team. That experience allowed me to explore the world of visual media, work alongside talented creatives, and discover a passion for bringing stories to life through photo and video.

My love for storytelling actually started long before I picked up a camera. With a background in theatre and a foundation in journalism, I’ve always been drawn to the art of capturing people, moments, and stories in a meaningful way. Photography and videography have become the perfect way for me to combine those passions.

Whether I’m capturing the energy of a game, the details of a special event, or the moments that happen in between, my goal is always the same: to create visuals that tell a story and make you feel something.
